For LilyÃnnã, a New York-based artist, the past is where she left the worries of external judgement, focusing on “letting the art draw in its own genuine response”.
“As soon as I took a step back inside myself and went in a creative direction that spoke to me and only me, I began feeling more connected to my work. Now I feel not only proud of my work but also confident as an artist in the creative community. I also realized that more people seemed to genuinely connect to it because it was coming from a more authentic space”
